Memorial

From the beginning of the project, UMMC has been committed to creating an appropriate memorial to honor those buried here.

Preliminary ideas include the creating a structure located on the UMMC campus which will include a mausoleum, a memorial where descendants and the general public can pay their respects, and an educational component about life at the Mississippi State Insane Hospital between 1855 and 1935.
